A capture mode decides what the interview asks and what kind of document is written from it.
- After-action review: what happened, what was expected, what was learned.
- Process mapping: how a process actually runs, step by step, with its exceptions.
- Exit interview: what a departing expert knows that others will need.
- Self performance review: a structured look back at one's own work.
- Handover: what a successor needs on day one. Started from a task link.
Documents are written only from what was said in the session. A short session gives a short document; Tacivo does not fill gaps with invented detail.
