Chat and voice interviews
Answer by typing or by talking; both lead to the same document.
Every capture mode can run by chat or by voice. The questions are the same; only the way you answer changes.
Voice
- The interviewer waits through long pauses, so you can think.
- The interviewer’s voice changes tone naturally, warmer when it welcomes you, curious when it follows up. Those cues are only heard: the transcript, the notes and the document never contain them.
- Pause really pauses the call. When you resume, or switch from chat to voice, the interviewer opens with a short recap and a question.
- Ask to switch language at any time and the interview continues in that language. The document is still written in your organization's language.
Live notes
- A panel beside the conversation keeps notes by topic as you talk, with a checklist of what is covered. Correct a note and the interviewer is told.
- Progress follows the topics covered. When they are all done, or you have said enough, generate the document early from the text panel.
- Notes are saved with the session and are there when you reopen it.
Reopening a session
Reopen a finished session to add more. The document is updated with what you add; it is not rewritten from scratch.
